Under the Light of Fireflies

In 1981 Texarkana, Texas, twelve-year-old Noah Ellis is grieving his father’s death when another tragedy leaves him with severe amnesia. He becomes the focus of a widely publicized trial while trying to understand the accident he cannot remember. Attention from girls and former bullies changes his social world, but Noah remains in his older brother’s shadow and feels responsible for his younger sister. He is still searching for a place of his own.
