Extraterrestrial Zoo 1: Finding the Lost One, The

Thirteen-year-old Ava helps run her family’s refuge for extraterrestrial beings. After meteors bring eggs containing alien babies to Earth, Ava’s parents hatch, care for, raise, and study them. The growing number of beings leads to a government-funded Alien Zoo. Years later, Ava’s mother has died in a car accident, and her grieving father leaves Ava and the zoo with his brother. A sudden attack on the zoo leads Ava toward a government conspiracy that changes what she believes.
