This Is My Fort! (Monkey & Cake series)

Monkey and Cake are best friends who enjoy building forts, even though they do not always agree. When Cake decides to make a fort alone, Monkey feels left out and builds a separate fort that is larger than Cake’s. Before long, each discovers that being alone in a fort is not enjoyable. The story follows their shared interest in fort-building, the disagreement that separates them, and the realization that their friendship matters more than competing over whose fort is bigger.
