The Scarecrow

Old Scarecrow has a fearsome reputation among the animals, who know to leave him alone. His response changes when a frightened young crow drops from the sky and lands near him. Scarecrow rescues the baby bird and tends to it until it is well. As the crow recovers, the pair form an affectionate friendship despite being described as natural enemies. The story follows their growing bond and asks whether it can endure.
