Thirty Minutes over Oregon: A Japanese Pilot's World War II Story

In 1942, Japanese pilot Nobuo Fujita flies a mission to bomb forestland near Brookings, Oregon, hoping to start a fire. Equipment problems limit the damage from the two bombs he drops, though fragments later identify them as Japanese. After the war, Fujita returns to Japan. In 1962, the Brookings Jaycees locate and invite him to their Memorial Day event, and he accepts after years of guilt.
