The Worlds We Leave Behind

Hex, Tommo, and a younger girl named Sascha play in the woods until Hex throws a stone that causes Sascha to fall and break her arm. After Sascha’s sister Maria punches him, Hex accepts a strange woman’s offer to remove Maria from existence. No one would remember Maria, and she would not die, but Hex soon faces consequences he did not expect. Others have also encountered the woman, and restoring the worlds requires more than Hex’s actions alone.
