The Kodiaks: Home Ice Advantage

Alex moves from the reserve where he grew up to Winnipeg when his father begins a new job. Starting sixth grade without his best friend or former hockey team, Alex tries out for a new team and earns a place alongside Terrence, who has called him “Chief” and checked him aggressively. Alex also befriends Aidan and gradually comes to trust Jenny. On the ice, Alex and Terrence begin to respect one another, but Alex continues to face racist behavior from players and parents on other teams.
