The Iron Will of Genie Lo

Genie Lo wants an ordinary senior year, but she is the reincarnation of a magical weapon from Chinese legend. Having previously protected the Bay Area from demons, she is now the Heaven-appointed Guardian of California, responsible for yaoguai and spirits on Earth. Her new role becomes still more urgent when a demon begins an extra-dimensional war. The story combines school life with a vast supernatural responsibility, drawing on Chinese legend as Genie faces demons, spirits, and conflict beyond her ordinary world.
