The Great Leopard Rescue: Saving the Amur Leopards

This account follows efforts to help Amur leopards after their wild population fell to only thirty animals in 2007. In 2012, part of their habitat in eastern Russia became a protected national park, but scientists still needed to increase the wild population. The book considers introducing leopards with survival skills and protecting existing cats from disease and other threats.
