The Faraway Forest: Wally’s Route

Wally, a raccoon mail carrier, walks his daily delivery route with his rabbit best friend Bo in a woodland village. The pair stop to help members of their community, which delays a letter expected by the gruff Mr. Sternbill. When heavy rain arrives, Wally continues the route and delivers to every house, including Mr. Sternbill’s. Afterward, Wally is ill with a cold, and friends and neighbors bring him get-well gifts. Mr. Sternbill apologizes and brings a book about postal history.
