The Book That Kibo Wrote

Under acacia trees, Kibo the rhinoceros writes about the savanna he calls home, including its sky, insects, and birds. His neighbor Naki, a crane, reads the work, stitches it into a book, and carries it to the city. There, the volume passes from animal to animal. It brings one reader memories of the savanna, sparks a song for another, helps unfamiliar animals connect, and introduces a traveler to a place she does not know.
