Badger, Anteater, Owl, Turtle, and Mandrill each propose an activity they consider terrific, including climbing, swimming, and hanging from toes. The friends cannot agree because each suggestion pleases its proposer more than the rest of the group. Snake joins them with plans involving squeezing and swallowing animals. At day’s end, Snake coils around the exhausted friends, but Owl grabs Snake in her beak. The group then shares species-appropriate snacks together.
