Stack the Cats

This counting picture book moves from one to ten through the activities of simply drawn cats. Oval-bodied felines with pointed ears play, hide, search, climb, balance, sleep, and build stacks. At three, six, and nine, the cats form one or more vertical piles. Aqua dominates the illustrations, with orange, gold, and neutral accents. The book uses its cats’ changing positions and actions to present numbers across the sequence.
