Spot, the Cat
Henry Cole
Spot, a white cat with a black patch, slips from an apartment window after becoming absorbed by a bird outside. The boy nearby does not notice at first, but begins an urgent search when he realizes Spot has gone. While the boy travels through the city and grows increasingly worried, Spot has an adventure of his own among streets, a park, a market, and a large station. Their paths nearly cross before Spot finds the way home and they reunite.
