Skating over Thin Ice

Genny is a high school senior and piano prodigy who is sensitive to stimuli and experiences social anxiety. Music absorbs her so fully that social situations can remain difficult even after a performance ends. An unlikely friendship develops between Genny and a hockey player who has been suspended. The relationship may help both students as Genny continues with piano and the pressures of connecting with others.
