Sheep Won’t Sleep: Counting by 2s, 5s, and 10s

Clarissa cannot fall asleep, and counting sheep brings woolly animals into her bedroom. Her attempts expand to pairs of alpacas, groups of llamas counted by fives, and yaks counted by tens. She uses skip-counting by twos, fives, and tens, along with subtraction, to put things back in order. The counting problem unfolds through the increasingly crowded assortment of animals in her room.
