A baby dinosaur hatches in the cave where a large tyrannosaurus sleeps and immediately treats the adult as his father. Calling him Dad, little Rex copies his boulder-smashing, tree-uprooting, and dinosaur-scaring behavior. The bigger dinosaur initially tries to ignore his persistent follower, then accepts the bond between them. When Rex asks whether he will become as terrifying as Dad, the adult explains that they are not biologically related. Even so, they recognize one another as family.
