Peasprout Chen: Future Legend of Skate and Sword

At fourteen, Peasprout travels from Shin with her younger brother Cricket when the Empress Dowager sends them to study at Pearl Famous Academy of Skate and Sword. She is experienced in wu liu, a combat discipline that brings together skating and kung fu, and aims to excel in her first year. Among other gifted students are Suki and the reserved Doi. After training structures made of Pearl are sabotaged, Suki alleges Peasprout is spying for the Empress, and suspicion shifts toward Peasprout. She tries to expose the actual saboteur with backing from Doi and his twin, Hisashi.
