Once, a Bird

In a snowy landscape, a robin finds a faint pink bud on a branch as spring begins to emerge. Flying onward, the bird passes greening farm fields and rivers where ice still remains. It later reaches a city and settles near an apartment building. Over days and weeks, people inside watch from their windows as the robin builds a nest, lays bright blue eggs, cares for them, and tends its hatchlings. The wordless story follows the changing seasons and the bird’s presence in both rural and urban places.
