Nice Try, Jane Sinner

Seventeen-year-old Jane Sinner has left high school after a personal crisis and expulsion. Unwilling to be treated with pity, she sets out to remake herself through schemes and stunts. Her efforts lead her to a student-run, low-budget reality show at a local community college, even as she rejects the religiously motivated help offered by her parents. The story follows Jane’s attempts at reinvention after a difficult turning point.
