Notes from My Captivity

Seventeen-year-old Adrienne Cahill, an aspiring journalist, travels to Siberia with her anthropologist stepfather. He hopes to find a legendary family of hermits in the wilderness, while Adrienne doubts that the family exists. After disaster disrupts the expedition, she is held captive by the very family she had dismissed as mythical. The story follows a skeptical teen into an isolated, dangerous setting where an investigation becomes a struggle for freedom.
