Little Pig Saves the Ship
David Hyde Costello, illustrated by David Hyde Costello
Little Pig is too young to attend sailing camp with his older siblings, so he stays home practicing sailors’ knots with a rope and a knot book. His grandfather, Poppy, makes him a model ship, and the two sail it day after day. When the ship is blown off course and races toward a waterfall, Poppy cannot catch it. Little Pig uses his rope and a knot to capture the boat. His returning siblings are impressed by what he has done.
