Liberty’s Civil Rights Road Trip

Liberty and her friend Abdullah take a bus trip with their families and a varied group of fellow passengers. Their journey begins with a stop in Jackson, Mississippi, and continues to places important to the civil rights movement. Based on an actual trip, the story follows what the two friends encounter at these sites and their wish to join others in working toward a better world. The journey gives the pair a shared route through civil rights history.
