Katie the Catsitter

Katie takes odd jobs in her apartment building to earn money for Camp Bear Lake with her best friend. A catsitting job for Ms. Lang proves more promising, but Ms. Lang has 217 unusual cats. Their skills include semaphore, photographic memory, textiles, crafts, and counterattacking. Katie suspects that Ms. Lang may be the supervillain Mousetress because Ms. Lang is absent whenever Mousetress commits a crime. She eventually learns that Ms. Lang and the cats are working for good.
