I Yam a Donkey!
Cece Bell
A blue donkey announces that he is a donkey using the word “yam,” prompting a spectacled yam to correct him. The donkey misunderstands the correction and insists that the yam is a donkey too. As the yam grows increasingly frustrated, other vegetables arrive and help distinguish a yam, carrot, turnip, and green beans from the donkey. The exchange turns grammar and word confusion into a comic argument.
