Highly Illogical Behavior
John Corey Whaley
Sixteen-year-old Solomon Reed is agoraphobic and has seldom left home since middle school. Lisa Praytor wants to befriend him and help him go outside, while privately intending to use the experience for her college application essay. Lisa and her boyfriend, Clark, begin visiting Solomon, and the three develop a close friendship. Family events encourage Solomon to take small steps beyond the house, but Lisa’s hidden essay eventually comes to light, leaving Solomon deeply hurt.
