Goodbye Autumn, Hello Winter

A boy and girl walk from a wooded area toward town as autumn gives way to winter. Along the way, they greet falling leaves, birds preparing to migrate, and sheep growing thicker fur. Each seasonal presence tells the children something about getting ready for cold weather. Overnight, snow falls, and the children awaken to frost, icicles, and a wintry landscape before returning to play outdoors. The story follows the visual and natural changes from the warm colors of fall into winter’s cooler tones.
