Cyril and Pat

Cyril, a lonely squirrel in Lake Park, meets Pat, whom he assumes is another squirrel. The pair enjoys scaring pigeons, taking bread from ducks, and avoiding a dog named Slim. Other animals try to tell Cyril that Pat is actually a rat, but their warnings keep being interrupted. When Pat is banished after the truth emerges, Cyril is alone again. Cyril’s refusal to judge Pat by species, and Pat’s loyalty, keep their friendship intact.
