Adapted from She Said, this book recounts the investigative reporting behind the Harvey Weinstein case. It follows the journalists’ process as they interview people including Gwyneth Paltrow and Ashley Judd, many of whom must decide whether to be publicly named. The narrative also addresses the support that developed among some survivors, as well as sexism and male entitlement in Hollywood and beyond. A final decision about publication depends partly on one source’s readiness to be identified on the record.
