Animal Countdown

A die-cut counting book moves backward from ten animals to one. Each spread gives a partial view of an animal through a single cutout, then unfolds to reveal and name it in a natural setting. The sequence begins with ten sea otters and ends with one snow leopard. Numbers are written as words on the page, and the final narrative page explains that all of the featured animals are endangered. End matter returns to each animal with a picture and brief information.
