All the Days Past, All the Days to Come

Cassie Logan is now a young woman trying to determine where she belongs. Her path takes her from Toledo through California and Colorado to law school in Boston, before she returns to Mississippi in the 1960s to join voter-registration work. Along the way, she encounters the Great Migration, postwar racism, the civil rights movement, and violent clashes connected to political change across the United States.
