While gardening with her grandfather, a young Latina girl begins noticing circles all around her. Her grandfather points out literal circles such as the sun, a clock, and bicycle wheels, as well as less visible ones, including part of a rainbow and the life cycle. As she keeps looking, the girl sees circles in more places and recognizes herself as part of the larger circle of life. The story centers on their close intergenerational relationship.
