A Treasure of Measures

This book considers many ways to measure ordinary moments in life. Reading time can be counted in minutes or hours, but it can also be considered through page turns, laughter, tears, or requests to read again. Rainfall offers another comparison: it may be measured through the sound of rain or by noticing how many people open umbrellas.
