In Mr. Tiffin’s class, students spend several weeks reading, discussing, and writing poetry for Poem-in-Your-Pocket Day and a visit from poet Emmy Crane. Elinor expects to write more poems than anyone, but grows frustrated when the ideas in her head do not take shape as she wants on paper.
