A Parade of Elephants
Kevin Henkes
Five small, brightly colored elephants travel together in a line from morning until night. Their march takes them up and down, under and over, and around and around, introducing ideas of direction and movement through their route. The elephants remain together through the day before ending with a trumpet and going to sleep at night.
