Tiger Daughter

Wen Zhou is the daughter of Chinese migrant parents and lives under intense pressure to do well at school. Her father’s strict rules leave her feeling confined. At her Australian school, Wen helps another Chinese immigrant student. Both students live in poverty and have troubled parents, and the possibility of a scholarship to a better school raises the question of whether it could change one student’s circumstances.
