At Wilberton Academy, transfer student Abby Kita becomes involved in the investigation of Elizabeth Woodward’s death. Elizabeth, a leading member of the elite school theatrical society, had played Juliet in the school production before being found dead the next morning. Authorities determine that she died by suicide, but Abby doubts that conclusion and begins looking into the school and the society’s secrets. As an outsider whom other students dislike because they think she is gay, Abby tries to determine whether Elizabeth was murdered.
