Five characters make separate journeys through Zoom, an imaginary city, revealing how its urban transit system works. Zoom’s residents travel by many forms of transportation as they move through city life. Their routes provide a view of the complex public-transit network and of the people who rely on it. The book uses these individual journeys to explore transportation across a bustling invented city.
