The Paris Project

Seventh grader Cleveland wants to leave Sassafras, Florida, for the American School of Paris. She creates a six-item Paris Project List, believing that completing it will help her reach that goal. When her father’s gambling results in his incarceration, Cleveland has to reconsider both her plans for Paris and her friendships. Her desired move and changing family circumstances reshape what she expects from the future.
