The Not-So-Boring Letters of Private Nobody

Seventh grader Oliver Prichard knows the Civil War’s battles, generals, and army movements, so he expects to enjoy his final history project. Instead, he is assigned to research Private Raymond Stone, an unknown soldier who never fought in a battle, with classmate Ella Berry. As Oliver, Ella, and another student uncover the soldier’s secrets, the three become each other’s first friends and Oliver learns more than he anticipated.
