The Death & Life of Benny Brooks

Benny Brooks is contending with a series of troubles at home and at school. His parents have divorced, and his mother moves away, leaving Benny, his brother, and his sister with their father, who has received a lung-cancer diagnosis. Benny is also picked on by his older brother, unnoticed by his crush, and having difficulty in all classes other than art. The story follows how these pressures accumulate for Benny.
