The Clock
Pam Fong, illustrated by Pam Fong
This nonfiction story follows the large clock at Paris’s Gare d’Orsay. The clock once hung above the crowds in a new railway station, helping its daily activity run on time. As Paris grew and travelers moved elsewhere, the station and its clock were left behind. Years later, the building became the Musée d’Orsay, and the clock was restored. Its return gives the former station a new life as an art museum.
