Tear This Down

Twelve-year-old Freya has always loved her hometown of Wellstone, where schools, beaches, stores, and a large statue honor founder Benjamin Wellstone. While researching a school project, she learns that the revered figure opposed women’s rights and believed women should remain in the home. Freya decides to recognize local women from history instead, especially suffragists. Her effort to challenge the town’s view of its founder brings controversy.
