Solo

Daisy is a classical musician whose home life can leave her feeling separate from her twin brothers’ close bond. She relies especially on her parents, including her father, and has one close friend while performing music fills much of her life. When her boyfriend ends their relationship without warning, Daisy feels cut off from music as well. A new school friend, the enigmatic Flora, offers a measure of calm, but that fragile improvement does not last. Told in verse, the novel follows Daisy through heartbreak and upheaval.
