Snake in the Grass: A Fina Mendoza Mystery

Fina Mendoza, the ten-year-old daughter of a congressman, investigates mysteries in the U.S. Capitol with her large orange dog, Senator Something. Tensions on Capitol Hill are high as lawmakers insult one another and punish cross-party cooperation. Then snakes begin appearing in gym bags and trash cans. Fina and her dog must identify who is behind the incidents and uncover the real “snake in the grass.”
