Rain and the Reading Horse

Rain is nervous about reading aloud when she joins a school program involving a gentle horse named Snow. Her words often catch as she reads, and shyness and anxiety make the experience difficult at first. Time spent with Snow, including reading to and caring for the horse, gradually helps Rain feel more at ease. The story follows her developing relationship with Snow as she works through her fears and gains confidence in using her voice.
