Otters Love to Play

A group of river otters appears in spring, when young pups leave their den. Across the year and at different points in their lives, the otters play while learning. Their activities include pursuing one another, moving down muddy slopes, leaping into autumn leaves, and learning to swim. They also catch fish for food and groom themselves in snowy weather.
