ORCA RESCUE! THE TRUE STORY OF AN ORPHANED ORCA NAMED SPRINGER

A volunteer recounts the real rescue of a young orca found alone in Puget Sound. Researchers and scientists from two countries work to identify the calf as Springer, determine where she belongs, and plan how to help her. Springer is transported to northern Vancouver Island and reunited with her family nearly 300 miles away. The book also includes resources for further exploration.
