Operation: Happy: A World War II Story of Courage, Resilience, and an Unbreakable Bond

Set in 1940, the story follows Jody as her military family moves to a small naval base at Pearl Harbor. When World War II reaches her home, she tries to cope and help hold her family together. With her dog, Happy, Jody works through a bucket list. The novel also includes Happy’s point of view and draws inspiration from the experiences of a young Pearl Harbor survivor.
