Neighbors

A girl moves into an apartment building and begins wondering about the people who live around her. The book considers neighbors as people who are constantly nearby yet can remain hard to know. Sparse text and ink drawings tell stories about several residents, including the girl’s new school friend. Her move provides the starting point for observations about the lives unfolding in the building.
